In 2023, Know Your State Judges embarked on the unique mission to educate Illinoisans about their local, Appellate, and Supreme Court judicial candidates. Know Your State Judges has reviewed multiple credible sources from the Illinois State Bar Associations, county bar associations, the circuit court's websites, the Illinois Election Board, Illinois Judicial Inquiry Board, Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission, Illinois Sunshine, Martindale, candidate website and social media sites, and have reached out to each candidate to verify the data. In the process a very thorough and non-partisan profile of each candidate has been collected and displayed so that voters can make a more informed determination of who they want sitting on the bench when an important decision is made for them or their community.
